ESR measurements of irradiated anion doped potassium chromate

Abstract The hot atom reactions of 51 Cr recoils in neutron irradiated anion doped potassium chromate were studied by means of ESR measurements. To get a clear insight into the role of the radiation damage the ESR spectra of the reactor irradiated samples and of 60 Co gamma irradiated materials were compared, and it was found the spectra are similar.
