When a channel switching command is detected, a timestamp of audio and video data of a current playing frame of a current playing channel is obtained, a timestamp of a starting frame of audio and video data of a channel to be switched is amended into the obtained timestamp, no time difference exists between the audio and video data of the channel to be switched and the audio and video data played at present, smooth connection can be achieved, a decoder is not required to be turned on or turned off, and switching of television channels is more smooth.
