NEW TECHNOLOGY OF HIGH-DENSITY TRANSPORT OF PULVERIZED C OAL FOR INJECTION INTO BLAST FURNACES

A new technology of high density transport for coal injection into blast furnace is presented in this paper.Pulverized coal is discharged through a single pipeon the upper part of a fluidized-bed tank, distributed to tuyeres witha distributor in front of the blast furnace, and the injection rate can be adjusted by means of supplementing gas. High solid gas ratio about 50～100 kg/m 3(solid/gas) is achieved with rather even distribution of pulverized coal.
