Congenital extra-adrenal neuroblastoma associated left heart hypoplasia

Abstract A case of congenital extraadrenal neuroblastoma, discovered by means of ultrasonography (US) in a newborn in which the autopsy studies have shown the presence of left heart hypoplasia, is described. Both sonographic and macroscopic/histologic aspects of the tumor in addition to the autoptic finding of the heart are discussed.
