Effects of optical coherence and polarization in optical ANA

Optical Aulomatic Network Analyzers extend ihe use of the traditional microwave inslrument to measure the modulation response of optoelectronic components such as receivers and transmitters. The issues of lineariiy, opiical coherence and polarization are explored.
