IMMOBILIZATION OF Aspergillus Niger CELLULASE ON IONIC EXCHANGERS - ISOTHERMAL AND KINETIC STUDIES

2015
ﺔﻌﺑﺎﺘﺘﻣ . ABSTRACT: Investigations were carried out in batch modes for studying the immobilization behavior of cellulase Aspergillus niger on an anionic and a cationic exchanging resins, Amberlite IRA 400 and Amberlite IRC 50. The cellulase was immobilized onto the two supports at various concentrations, at different pHs and temperatures. Immobilization onto the two resins followed the Langmuir model and pseudo first order kinetic model. The optimum temperature of the activity of the cellulase was unaffected by immobilization. The immobilized cellulase retained more than 50% activity up to 5 cycles on Amberlite IRA 400.
