PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KACANG HIJAU PASCA PADI BERAS MERAH KONVENSIONAL DAN SISTEM IRIGASI AEROBIK TUMPANGSARI DENGAN KACANG TANAH PADA BERBAGAI POLA BARISAN: GROWTH AND YIELD OF MUNGBEAN DIRECT-SEEDED FOLLOWING CONVENTIONAL AND AEROBIC IRRIGATED RED RICE INTERCROPPED WITH PEANUT UNDER VARIOUS ROW PATTERNS

ABSTRACT. This study aimed to determine the effect of rice cultivation techniques between conventional techniques and aerobic irrigation systems intercropping with peanuts and the arrangement of row patterns on growth and yield of mungbean direct-seeded following red rice. The experiment was carried out in Beleke Village, Gerung District (West Lombok) from June to August 2020, which was arranged according to Split Plot design, with two treatment factors, namely rice cultivation techniques of the previous season (T) as the main plots (T1= conventional rice; T2= aerobic irrigated rice intercropped with peanut) and the patterns of mungbean rows (B) as the sub-plots (B1= single-row, B2= double-row, B3= triple-row). Data were analyzed with analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey’s HSD test at 5% level of significance. The results indicated that rice cultivation technique had a significant effect on growth and yield components of mungbean direct-seeded following the red rice crop, which was higher on mungbean following aerobic irrigated rice intercropped with peanuts compared to following conventional rice. Row patterns generally did not show significant effects on mungbean growth, but they had a significant effect on mungbean yield components. However, there was an interaction effect on plant height, growth rate of plant height, pod number, grain number, and grain yield of mungbean following rice, in which grain yield was highest in the double row pattern if it was direct-seeded following aerobic irrigated rice intercropped with peanut, whereas if it followed conventional rice, the highest grain yield was in the single row pattern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik budidaya padi antara teknik konvensional dan sistem irigasi aerobik tumpangsari dengan kacang tanah serta pengaturan pola barisan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kacang hijau tugal langsung pasca padi beras merah. Percobaan dilaksanakan di Desa Beleke, Kecamatan Gerung, Kabupaten Lombok Barat dari bulan Juni sampai Agustus 2020, yang ditata menurut Split Plot design, dengan tiga ulangan dan dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu teknik budidaya padi musim tanam sebelumnya (T) sebagai petak utama (T1= padi konvensional; T2= sistem irigasi aerobik tumpangsari padi dan kacang tanah) dan pola barisan kacang hijau (B) sebagai anak petak (B1= barisan single-row, B2= double-row, B3= tripe-row). Data dianalisis dengan analisis keragaman dan uji beda nyata jujur pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor teknik budidaya padi berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan komponen hasil kacang hijau yang ditugal langsung pasca padi, yaitu lebih tinggi pasca padi sistem irigasi aerobik tumpangsari dengan kacang tanah dibandingkan dengan pasca padi konvensional. Pola barisan umumnya tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan, tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap komponen hasil tanaman kacang hijau. Namun terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara kedua faktor perlakuan terhadap tinggi tanaman, laju pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah polong, jumlah biji, dan hasil biji kacang hijau tugal langsung pasca padi, di mana hasil biji kacang hijau tertinggi pada barisan double row jika ditugal langsung pasca padi sistem irigasi aerobik tumpangsari dengan kacang tanah, sedangkan jika pasca padi konvensional, hasil biji tertinggi pada pola barisan single row.
