Optical network control apparatus and optical network control method

In an optical network using the dense wavelength division multiplexing system using flexible frequency grids, it is difficult to intend to improve the trouble tolerance and further improve the efficiency of using the optical bands of the whole optical network. In view of this, an optical network control apparatus of the present invention comprises: an optical path establishment means that selects a plurality of optical node pairs each consisting of two optical nodes from a plurality of optical nodes constituting an optical network using the dense wavelength division multiplexing system using flexible frequency grids and that establishes a plurality of optical paths including first and second optical paths coupling each pair of optical nodes by use of different routes therebetween among the plurality of optical node pairs; and an optical band establishment means that establishes, on the basis of the lengths and communication amounts of the optical paths, the respective optical bands thereof such that the total amount of the optical band of the first optical path is equal to or greater than the total amount of the optical band of the second optical path.
