Oxidative transformation of the dicobalthexacarbonyl complexes of γ-hydroxyalkynes

The title compounds were found to undergo an oxidative cyclization–hydrocarbonylation reaction under the standard conditions of decomplexation by treatment with cerium(IV) ammonium nitrate.
