The invention relates to a method for producing a concrete prepared from a mixture comprising a milk, an alkali activator based on sodium carbonate, aggregates and water, said mixture being free of clinker, said method comprising a thermal treatment of the mixture wherein the mixture is subjected to a constant set temperature between 50 degrees Celsius and 90 degrees Celsius for a specified period. The invention also relates to a concrete made from such a method.
