The invention relates to a housing (1) for a household appliance such as a clothes dryer, which is a floor module (2) and side walls comprises in its basic shape (3) and (4), a rear wall and a front wall (5). According to the invention the front wall (5) of the laundry dryer for the construction of a frameless housing (1) is constructed in modular fashion in the construction, wherein at the back (6) of the front wall (5), the air guide (7) is fastened to the process air stream, so that front wall (5) and air guide (7), a front module (8) form, which is attachable to a pre-latching and without tools to the base module (2).
