Image quality improvement of 8K LCD displays via process optimization

In commercial market, high-resolution displays trend to be attractive for customers. In the process of process preparation, there are some problems that affect the improvement of display quality, which need to be solved by process and design. It was demonstrated to be a critical issue of transmittance reduction due to phase mismatch of transillumination in the layered structure of SiOx and SiNx, which affects image quality sioursly. It would be a good solution to improve the transmittance via optimizing structures of GI and PV layers in production process. Vertical crosstalk is another typical issue for image quality of LCD displays, which could be resolved by modification of pre-tilt angle in production process. In this paper, the layered structure of LCD and the change of pre-tilt angle are studied, and it is proved that this change is an effective strategy to improve the image quality of LCD.
