Spontaneous resolution of non-immune hydrops fetalis secondary to transplacental parvovirus B19 infection

We report a case of hydrops fetalis secondary to transplacental parvovirus B19 infection, in which spontaneous resolution of the hydrops occurred 4 weeks after the initial presentation. This case emphasizes the role of conservative management based one ultrasound evidence of continued resolution of the hydrops and intrauterine growth retardation.
