3T-Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Proton Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Findings in Gliosarcoma: A Case Report

2007
Gliosarcoma, as a rare primary brain tumor composed of gliomatous and sarcomatous elements, most often occurs during the fifth to seventh decades of the human lifespan. We present 3T-magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy findings of gliosarcoma in a 26-year-old male. To our knowledge, the spectroscopy findings of gliosarcoma have not been described in the literature before.
