espanolCatherine Cronin es docente e investigadora sobre educacion en abierto, identidad y bienestar digital y trabaja actualmente como desarrolladora educativa en el National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education en Irlanda. Comenzo su carrera como Ingeniera de Sistemas en la decada de 1980, y finalmente cambio de trayectoria para graduarse en Estudios de la Mujer, completando su tesis sobre Genero y Tecnologia. Desde entonces, Catherine acumula mas de 25 anos de experiencia en la ensenanza, la investigacion y el trabajo en la educacion superior. Recientemente completo su doctorado en Practicas de Educacion Abierta (OEP) en Educacion Superior.
