Airborne sounding of distribution of atmospheric pollution and underlying surface
1995
The aircraft laboratory AN-30 'OPTIK-E', constructed at the Institute of Atmospheric Optics, is capable of measuring gas and aerosol composition of air, hydrosol, oil film, and spectral characteristics of underlying surface. In 1989-1991 tha airborne observations were performed using the AN-30 at the Baikal Lake, in Kamchatka, Buryatia, and a number of cities in Russia and Kazakhstan. The totality of experience of its operation has made it possible to develop an origianl technique for airborne ecological sounding, which gives a 3D representation on the distribution of air pollutants.© (1995) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
