The power distribution unit supports a remote access function and can provide a remote operation interface for a remote user. The power distribution unit comprises a remote operating set module, an interface skip module and a main control module, and when the main control module detects that the duration of no operation of the remote user exceeds a time threshold value of automatic shutdown, the interface skip module is controlled to skip the interface presented to the remote user to a login interface automatically. According to the power distribution unit, the threshold value of the automatic shutdown is set to achieve a time-out function, when the duration of no operation of the remote user exceeds the time threshold value of the automatic shutdown, the interface skips to the login interface automatically, and if the operation needs to be continued, the user and a password need to be input again to login again. Accordingly, the work efficiency of the power distribution unit can be improved to some extent, and the connection with unnecessary remote operation which affects the overall efficiency does not need to be maintained.
