PHENOTYPE AND GENE FREQUENCIES OF SOME BLOOD GROUPS SYSTEM IN BULGARIANS FROM SMOLYAN REGION

For the study of blood group, serum and enzyme systems we made parallel investigations. We took blood samples from 540 individual with Bulgarian origin, living in the Smolyan region of Bulgaria, males and females, at the age from 18 to 45, clinically healthy and without family relationships among them. ABO, Rh, MNSs, P1, GM1 blood grouping were done by conventional methods.
