ANÁLISE BIBLIOMÉTRICA DA PRODUÇÃO CIENTÍFICA SOBRE MÉTODOS DE CONTROLE DE PRAGAS E DOENÇAS EM AMBIENTES PROTEGIDOS NA BASE DE DADOS WEB OF SCIENCE: BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION ON PEST AND DISEASE CONTROL METHODS IN PROTECTED ENVIRONMENTS IN THE WEB OF SCIENCE

2020
This study consists of the analysis of scientific production on methods of pest and disease control in protected environments using bibliometric indicators. The theme was chosen for its relevance to the country's socioeconomic development. The data prepared through bibliometric studies measure the contribution of scientific knowledge derived from publications in certain areas. The study aimed at a bibliometric review with the help of the Web of Science® platform on methods of controlling pests and diseases in protected environments, using the technology of application of pesticides, bringing an overview of the scientific and technological advances made until the time. The methodology consisted of a search for works that had in their title the words "control of pests and diseases in protected environments", between the 1980s and 2018. The interpretation of the data confirms the non-existence of a specific pattern regarding the growth of scientific production, however, some years stand out in which were the most published, being 2014 and 2015. The United States of America (USA) is the country with the largest number of publications on the topic, followed by Israel and Spain, both in second place.
