Co-slip catalyst and process for use

2014
a CO-slip catalyst is described for treating an exhaust gas from a lean-burn internal combustion engine. The CO-slip catalyst comprises palladium and a cerium oxide-containing material. Described is also a process for oxidizing excess CO in an exhaust gas, the excess CO from a periodic contact of an upstream catalyst under rich Abgasbedingungen due. The method includes contacting the excess CO in the exhaust gas with a CO-slip catalyst at a temperature in a range of 100 to 700 ° C.
