Enforcement holds the key to EVR success

2015
Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR) could be greatly beneficial if it were to receive widespread implementation. Correctly registering vehicles is important for addressing traffic problems. EVR has been successful in its implementation in a number of locations, but none of these were on a large scale. Large-scale implementation will require work on infrastructure as well as tags for vehicles. Without the combination of these two elements, EVR lacks many of its capabilities, such as data collection and database creation. If full implementation can be achieved, EVR could be highly effective in improving traffic issues.
