Methological evaluation for seral C-erbB-2 protein in breast cancer patients with the assay of antibody membrane technique

Objective:To establish and evaluate for seral C-erbB-2 protein in breast cancer patients with antibody membrane technique.Methods:Seral C-erbB-2 protein was detected with antibody membrane technique.The expression of C-erbB-2 protein in breast tissue was detected with immunohistochemical technique.Results:The positive rates of C-erbB-2 protein in sera of 30 breast cancer,26 breast proliferation patients and 30 normal controls were 40.0%,7.7% and 6.7% respectively.There was obvious difference in seral C-erbB-2 protein in breast cancer patients compared with those in breast proliferation patients and normal control(P0.05).The positive rate of seral C-erbB-2 protein in C-erbB-2 positive breast tissue and C-erbB-2 negative tissue were 91.67% and 11.11% respectively.There was a correlation between seral C-erbB-2 protein and expression of C-erbB-prote in breast tissue(P0.01).The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of seral C-erbB-2 protein breast cancer were 40.0%,92.8% and 74.4% respectively.Conclusion:The antibody membrane technique for seral C-erbB-2 protein accords with pathologic diagnosis highly in dignosing breast cancer.In addition,the method is easy and practical clinically.
