A BglI polymorphism for the interleukin-2 receptor gene (IL2R) on chromosome 10

pIL2R2 is a cDNA for IL2R cloned into the EcoRI site of pBR322 and encoding from the 5{prime} flanking region to exon 7. Bg1I identifies a two allele polymorphism with 17 kb and 16 kb alleles. Co-dominant inheritance was demonstrated in 6 CEPH families. SpeI shows a possible RFLP with I12R2.
