Development of a corrosion resistant current collector for the sodium sulphur cell

This paper describes the development and testing of a coated aluminum current collector for use in sodium sulfur cells. Chromium carbide and Nichrome coatings are shown to be very effective when used with plain carbon felt sulfur electrodes. 13 refs.
