HUBUNGAN PERILAKU CARING PERAWAT DENGAN LOS (LENGTH OF STAY) PADA PASIEN RAWAT INAP

ABSTRAK Lama  perawatan di ruang rawat inap atau disebut sebagai  LOS (Length of Stay  di pengaruhi oleh 2 faktor yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal. Salah satu faktor eksternal dipengaruhi oleh pelayanan yang diberikan oleh perawat. Asuhan keperawatan yang didalamnya merupakan pelayanan kepada pasien memuat berbagai aspek. Caring merupakan aspek penting dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku caring perawat dengan LOS (Length of Stay) pada  pasien rawat inap di RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelatif . Responden berjumlah 113 dengan metode Stratified Random Sampling. Diperoleh  p value 0,000 dari uji Spearman Correlation sehingga ada hubungan antara perilaku caring perawat dengan LOS (Length Of Stay) pada pasien rawat rawat inap di RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal. Setiap perawat perlu meningkatkan kemampuan dan kompetensi caring pada setiap pemberian asuhan keperawatan guna peningkatan mutu layanan asuhan keperawatan maupun rumah sakit yang dibuktikan dengan nilai LOS.   Kata kunci : Caring , LOS (Length Of Stay)   RELATIONSHIP OF CARING BEHAVIOR OF NURSES WITH LOS  (LENGTH OF STAY) IN INPATIENTS   ABSTRACT The length of treatment in the inpatient room or referred as LOS (Length of Stay) influenced by internal and external factors. One of the external factors is influenced by the services provided by the nurse. Nursing care in which the service to the patient contains various aspects. Caring is an important aspect of nursing care. This study aims to determine the relationship of caring behavior of nurses with LOS (Length of Stay) in inpatients in RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive correlative design. Respondents numbered 113 with Stratified Random Sampling method. P value 0.000 obtained from Spearman Correlation test, there is a relationship between nurse caring behaviors with LOS (Length Of Stay) in hospitalized patients hospitalized in the Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal Hospital. Each nurse needs to improve the ability and competence of caring on every provision of nursing care in order to improve the quality of nursing care and hospital services as evidenced by the value of Length of Stay (LOS).   Keywords:  Caring , LOS (Length Of Stay)
