Protein chip technologies for detection of chloramphenicol in food

Objective To develop protein chip technique for the detection of chlorphenicol in the food.Methods Chlorphenicol is a half antigen of small molecule and it binds BSA to become an antigen,CAP-BSA.The surface of glass slides was coated with CAP antibody;sample CAP and CY3 conjugated CAP-BSA were simultaneously added to the protein chip.The antibody competitive method was adopted in the process of detecting CAP.Results The detection sensitivity of chloramphenicol in this study was 0.001 μg/mL in the samples.Conclusion The protein chip technique can be used to detect chloramphenicol in food samples,with high throughout and sensitivity and best specificity.
