The invention relates to a nano/micro composite ceramic tool and die material and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method of the material adopts nano/micro composition method, uses micro-ZrO2 as matrix, adds nano-TiC and micro-alpha-Al2O3 as reinforcement phase, uses micro-Y2O3 and micro-CeO2 as stabilizers and micro-Mo, micro-Ni and micro-MgO as sintering additives to perform hot-pressing sintering and obtain the material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: respectively dispersing micro-ZrO2, nano-TiC and micro-alpha-Al2O3 powder, performing ball-milling, drying to obtain powder, and adopting hot-pressing method to sinter. By using the method, the mechanical properties of the material is easy to improve and the method has the advantages of simple preparation method, convenient operation and low cost. The obtained nano/micro composite ceramic tool and die material has good comprehensive mechanical properties and antifriction and wear resistance and can be used for preparing the ceramic tools and dies such as squeezing dies, drawing dies and cutting tools.
