Diverticular disease ñ A pictorial review

2006
SUMMARY Diverticular disease is a very common situation, especially among elderly people. Usually patients are asymptomatic but sometimes they present with symptoms ranging from minor complaints to life-threatening peritonitis. The clinical picture may resemble other pathology and further imaging and laboratory investigation is usually requested. In this review, we describe the imaging findings of diverticular disease.
