Influencia de la Misión Milagro en la salud visual latinoamericana

"Miracle Mission" designed as a solidarity campaign in the ophthalmologic field for all the Latin American and Caribbean peoples, emerged at the initiative of Cuba with the support of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The factors that encouraged this mission were analyzed, and its effects on the Latin American visual health from the assistance, teaching and research viewpoints were also stressed.
