The Application of Solution-Focused Therapy to Care Management

Mental health professionals often struggle with the process of care review for managed care organizations. Unfortunately, the process can seem adversarial in some cases. The authors suggest by applying principles common to solution-focused therapy, they may develop collegial and productive relationships with managed care reviewers.
