Edge adjustment method for adjusting an edge of an input image, comprising the etapassiguientes: extracting edge components of the input image; calculating a sum of the extracted edge components; calculating an average of luminance components of the input image; determining a degree of edge-enhancement as a large value (α ') if the sum of the components esmenor edge than or equal to a threshold value (TB) and the average luminance is greater than or equal to a value of umbralde luminance (TA), and as a small value (α) if the sum of the edge components is greater than the average value or deumbral luminance is less than the threshold luminance value; adjust the degree of enhancement determined according to the extracted edge components; improve, according to each degree of improvement set, each component corresponding to cadagrado edge enhancement; and adjusting the edge of the input image according to the edge components enhanced.
