The Pop-farmland-grain System Relationship and the District Sustainable Development——a Case Study of Shaanxi Province

Pop-farmland-grain system relationshipis an important facet to reflect the Eco-economic system sustainable development.Based on the statistical data of population,grain andfarmland in Shaanxi Province in half past century,pop-farmland-grain systematic relationship trends are analyzed.It is thought that Population density of farmland per square kilometerhas exceed its carrying capacity,grain per capita is insufficient,the potential safety of grain hazard exists,the aging population question has aggravated the systematic contradiction even more.The trends of the system in the coming 15 years are forecasted by means of models.Prediction shows,farmland scarcity,grain deficiency and eco-environmental degradation will coincide if the system develops according to traditional economic model.And the strategic countermeasures are finally put forward: ought to relieve the pressure of population from such many ways as family planning policy,structure adjustment and quality improvement;Improving the protection system of cultivated land and improve cultivated land quality through many methods;Increasing agricultural science and technology investment and developing biotechnology to improve yield of grain;Developing sunshine agriculture to improve agricultural ecological environment.
