Modern Interpretations of Romans: Tracking Their Hermeneutical/Theological Trajectory, D. Patte and C. Grenholm (Eds.) : book review

2013
Chapter 1: C. Grenholm and D. Patte, "Encore: Playing scriptural criticism on Romans in multiple keys" (1-32). This introduction to the tenth publication of the series distinguishes between three types of modern interpretations of Romans (Forensic, Covenantal, Apocalyptic), viewed from a Scriptural Critical analysis and as equally legitimate and plausible. It recognises that each of them is framed by analytical/textual (A), hermeneutical (H), and contextual (C) interpretations. The perspectives in the following nine essays are indicated with an (A, H, or C).
