ABASTO A CIELO ABIERTO: CUANDO LA UNIVERSIDAD SE COMPROMETE CON LA COMUNIDAD LOCAL

The Palermo University, expressing their commitment with the local community, was part of the agreement of cooperation signed in October 2003 between the Buenos Aires City Government and forty public and private institutions of the Abasto neighborhood. It’s main purpose was to set the “Cultura Abasto” up: a program of local development applied to an characteristic and grateful urban area of Buenos Aires which relies on the neighbours active participation in the whole process. In this way, that University promotionated an articulation proyect between academic formation, research and transference.
