A laboratory-acquired infection with Neisseria meningitidis
1982
Summary Four disease isolates of Neisseria meningitidis including one isolate from a case of laboratory-acquired meningococcal meningitis were characterised immunologically in an attempt to trace the source of the laboratory-acquired infection. The results strongly suggest the infecting organism was being routinely studied at the time of infection.
