The invention discloses a forming box used for laser forming metal SLM (selective laser melting) printing. The forming box comprises a forming box body and a working cylinder body which form a forming space, wherein the forming box body and the working cylinder body are in sealing communication to form an integrated structure; a vacuum pumping opening which is communicated with vacuum pumping equipment is formed in the forming box body; and a powder feeding hole which is in sealing communication with a powder outlet of a powder feeding mechanism is further formed in the forming box body. According to the forming box, a forming chamber and the working cylinder body are designed into the integrated structure, so that vacuum laser forming in the forming chamber is realized; a cylindrical forming box bears great pressure, a powder scraping plate, a datum working forming surface and a guide rail are arranged in a circular barrel of the forming box, and the powder feeding hole is in sealing communication with an integrated type lower power box, so that powder feeding is realized, a working cylinder is totally sealed and a piston is guided; and a secondary type advanced vacuum system is adopted to provide a high-strength forming box for realizing vacuum laser forming, so that bubbles in a workpiece are completely avoided, and strength and quality precision of a formed product are effectively improved.
