Cascade γ Decay of the 187W Compound State

In the decay scheme of 187W below 3.4 MeV the excitation energies and decay modes of 100 levels are established by joint analysis of (n,2γ) and (n,γ) data. The comparison of the experimental with calculated cascade intensities shows that the compound‐state decay of 187W is more due to the excitation of simple (few‐quasiparticle) structure levels than in the case of the 183W compound‐state decay.
