In recent decades, Spanish educational system has undergone continual changes in legislation and reforms, with the most modified teaching of vocational training likely. No one doubts today of its importance at the level of social and economic development, but the reality shows that its presence in the educational research remains scarce, especially if the focus of attention is its teachers. Thus, in this work, under a qualitative methodology concreted in a life history, the voice of James (retired teacher of VT) narrates his experiences and experience for 50 years. Their reflections, contextualized and analyzed in the light of the specialized literature allow to advance from the knowledge to the comprehension
