Extractive refining of high-sulfur diesel fraction to remove organic sulfur compounds and aromatic hydrocarbons

Experiments were performed on single-step extraction of organic sulfur compounds and aromatic hydrocarbons from the diesel fraction of high-sulfur oil containing sulfur mainly in the sulfide form with various aprotic and protic selective solvents and with extraction systems polar extractant-hexane.
