The complications of Phisohex.

Two burn cases are reported which developed symptoms of central and peripheral nerve damage and renal disturbance thought to be due to the absorption of Phisohex. A third case shows signs of kidney damage after ingestion of the material. The authors think it is prudent to avoid the use of this substance on large absorptive surfaces until more light has been shed on this problem.
