GROSSESSE HÉTÉROTOPIQUE DE DÉCOUVERTE PRÉ-OPÉRATOIRE

Simultaneous presence of intrauterine and ectopic pregnancy in the same patient is called heterotopic pregnancy. Preoperative diagnosis of such case is in frequent. A new case is reported in a 22 years old patient in whom the preoperative diagnosis was suspected by ultra sonic examination. Laparotomy confirmed the diagnosis and radical treatment of the ectopic pregnancy. Spontaneous expulsion of intrauterine pregnancy occurred 48 hours in the postoperative period. Anatomopathologic findings confirmed the intrauterine . In front of every case of abnormal early pregnancy, we have to think of the possibility of heterotopic pregnancy especially with the highly developed techniques of medically assisted production.
