Le management de la sûreté de fonctionnement

1996
There are three approaches to dependability and safety : application of contractual conditions, particularly on major programs ; application of the reliability, availability, maintenability and safety requirements of the market ; and application of dependability and safety criteria to the production system. A risk management approach can be based on the solutions adopted by major programs as well as those used in smaller companies. Tools must be chosen in line with the objectives, targets and characteristics of each entity. Full analysis of dependability requirements (guaranteed results or means) is the key to the success of any initiative in this area.
