In the Taylor reactor, the reactor housing and / or the rotor are designed such that the cross section of the reactor volume from the inlet at least initially rises to the outlet, the rise toward the outlet decreases at least over a part of the length of the rotor according to a first alternative of the invention. According to a second alternative of the invention, which may also be found in addition to the first application, the front end of the rotor is formed such that the reaction volume at least essentially free of dead volume opens into the outlet (Fig. 4).
