Performance of Foam Wedges in a New Semianechoic Room

Polyurethane‐polyether foam wedges used for sound absorption in new 18 ft × 22 ft × 11 ft semianechoic chamber. Details of the wedge installation and an evaluation of chamber performance with the wedges installed are discussed. The development of the wedges is described in another paper by Gardinier et al., Abstract 6G9. The 36‐in. long wedges were designed to achieve a cutoff frequency of 100 Hz when installed.
