An improved region-based tampered detection algorithm for 3D polygonal models

This paper proposes two strategies to improve our previous proposed algorithm to achieve higher embedding capacity. First, the message-digit substitution table is modified by different authentication code grabbing method. The embedding capacity can be increased by 11%. Second, parts of the authentication code is embedded into the ratio between the length of the embeddable vertex to the center of its reference vertices and the minimum side length between reference vertices. The embedding capacity can be increased by about 50%. Extensive experiments show that the proposed algorithm can achieve superior performance in terms of higher embedding capacity and imperceptible visual distortion.
