The Observation of Spinal Anesthesia with Bupivacaine for Hypogastria Surgery in Children

2009
Objective:To observe the security and feasibility of spinal anesthesia with Bupivacaine for hypogastria surgery in(3~5) years old children. Methods:In 75 each,150 children, who would be conducted for hypogastria surgery, were randomLy divided into the SA group in which spinal anesthesia was performed through L3/L4 interval with Bupivacaine and EA group in which epidural anesthesia was performed through L2/L3 interval with Bupivacaine, and all patients were given Midazolam 0.075mg/kg(vein injection) before operation. The indexes of drag reaction、incidence of nausea、degree of comfort、blood pressure duration operation were recorded. Results:The drag reaction is less severity in SA group than that in group EA,and the incidence of nausea and decrease of blood pressure did not differed between the both groups. Conclusions: The spinal anesthesia with Bupivacaine for hypogastria surgery in(3~5) years old children is available because it has a good anesthesia as it acts quickly, analgesia consummate.Although epidural anesthesia is also a good method for hypogastria surgery in children, the degree of comfort in operation is less than the spinal anesthesia.
