Cloning and Analysis of a Putative COR15a Gene in Arabidopsis pumila var.pumila

COR15a of Arabidopsis thaliana,which is associated with plant coldacclimation,is inducible in response to cold treatment,ABA,andwaterdeficit stress.A ortholog of COR15a had been cloned from the genome of Arabidopsis pumila var.pumila by PCR according to the sequence of COR15a.These genes have a same structure.The deduced amino acid sequence of ApCOR15a consists of 139 amino acids,which exhibit approximately 84% amino acid identity to AtCOR15a.
