Vessel for liquids

1995
In a container for liquids, air access to the liquid and liquid evaporation are reduced by a pipe (20) that extends through the inside of the containing vessel (10). The pipe (20) is located inside the pouring opening or extends from said opening into the container. A gaseous exchange between the environment and the liquid in the container is ensured through the pipe (20). In a preferred embodiment, the pipe (20) is submerged in the liquid and extends almost to the bottom (12) of the container, and so the exchange surface between the environment and the liquid is restricted to the pipe cross-section even when the liquid level in the container is low.
