The invention discloses a real-time monitoring system based on B/S architecture. The monitoring system comprises client-sides/browsers, a server-side, monitoring front end subsystems, and controlled devices. The client-sides/browsers are used to show information to a system user and receive commands of the user. The server-side is used to process and store all data and command information of the total system, and control the front end subsystems, and is used to realize control of the client-sides/browsers on the front end subsystems. The monitoring front end subsystems are used to receive data transmitted by the server-side and the controlled devices and after preprocessing and protocol conversion, the data is transmitted to the controlled devices and the server-side. The controlled devices are used to complete control contents when a control condition is met and send changed data messages to the monitoring front end subsystems. When the control condition is not met, the controlled devices reject control commands and send rejecting messages to the monitoring front end subsystems. The monitoring system has good adaptability and expandability, and is convenient in maintenance, low in cost, and can communicate in real time.
