Aluminum coated spherical particles filled paraffin wax as a phase-change thermal interface materials

In this paper, we reported thermally conductive insulating phase change materials filled with Al 2 O 3 -coated Al powder (PCMs/Al@Al 2 O 3 ) and investigated the effect of composite PCMs on the thermal conductive performance. Result revealed that the content of Al@Al 2 O 3 combines the advantages of both aluminum and alumina. The PCMs/Al@Al 2 O 3 has a thermal conductivity value of 1.6743 w/mk, which is three times as much as the PCMs/Al 2 O 3 , and it shows a better ability to prevent leakage.
